1234 – Where are the ActivBoard calibration settings stored?

This article assumes that you have installed the latest version of ActivDriver.
Windows
The calibration settings are stored in the registry in the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\ACTIVhidmini\Parameters\Calibration
If using a serial connection, these settings are stored in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\ ActivhidSerMini\Parameters\Calibration
Full Read, write, modify and execute access will be required to the above location for the calibration settings to be stored permanently.
Alternatively, you can log on as the administrator for the machine, calibrate the ActivBoard and this setting will be stored for all users of that machine.
Mac OS
The calibration settings are stored in: /etc/promethean/calibration
To access this folder, open a Finder window, click Go and Go to Folder…
When prompted, enter the folder location and click Go.
Full Read, write, modify and execute access will be required to the above location for the calibration settings to be stored permanently.
Linux
The calibration settings are stored in: /etc/promethean/calibration
Full Read, write, modify and execute access will be required to the above location for the calibration settings to be stored permanently.
