1638 – How to use the ActivBoard 10 Touch Diagnostic Tool

If you experience touch or calibration issues when using the ActivBoard 10 Touch, Promethean Technical Customer Support will advise you to download the ActivBoard 10 Touch Diagnostic Tool. This tool tests the ActivBoard’s sensors, and will help our team diagnose any hardware faults. You must use a Windows computer to perform these tests.
Connect your ActivBoard 10 Touch to your computer using the USB cable provided, and download the tool from the link above.
Once downloaded, double click on the application and select Run.
The first screen you will see is the Sensor Test. It may look like either of the images below. Take a screenshot or a photo of this screen.
Press the space bar to move to the next screen. This is the Drawing Test. Use your fingers to draw on the ActivBoard surface; each input is shown in a different colour. Draw all over the surface of the ActivBoard and take a screenshot or photo of this screen.
Press the space bar to move to the next screen. This is the FPS test; the number displayed may change several times. Take a screenshot or a photo of this screen.
To quit the application, press Escape.
Send the screenshots or photos you have taken to Promethean Technical Customer Support.
